South Asian Peace Youth Camp delegates visited Vice President of Maldives.

Sri Lanka-United Nations Friendship Organisation (SUNFO ) is hosting the "South Asian Peace Youth Camp-SAPYC 2011" in December at Don Bosco – Negombo, Sri Lanka with the cooperation of Gandhi Peace Foundation, Governmental and Youth Organization networks in South Asia.

SUNFO Director General Peace Ambassador Dr.Deshapriya S. Wijetunge and SUNFO Representative to LYON and its Media Director Mr.Nishad Upendra paid a Goodwill Mission to the Republic of Maldives to introduce SAYPC-2011 in Sri Lanka to Youth Organizations and Networks.

Dr. Hassan is the first ever elected Vice President in Maldives. He previously worked for the United Nations and he is the first Maldivian to obtain a Ph.D. While welcoming the SUNFO delegation  to the President's Office he assured the fullest cooperation for the success of the SAPYC 2011 in Sri Lanka from the President's Office and the Youth Ministry of the Government of Maldives.
