Lion Ms.Chandrika Gunasekera is a prominent Social Worker. She has been associated with SUNFO for nearly 10 years. She has led SUNFO Branch Development Division. She has constructed Children Play Area at SUNFO Southern Province Child Development Center, Scholarship Scheme for children, Sponsoring educational tours for children, Elderly service activities and many other humanitarian actions.
Ms.Gunasekera has carried out some volunteer coordination of SUNFO activities in Australia too.
She has been respectfully appointed as the SUNFO Honorary Advisor for Social Services at the Special national Ceremony of SUNFO for IYD at National Museum Auditorium, Colombo 7 on 21 August, 2011.
